    We are travelling as a group of 9 people in march 2012. I understand we have been booked as a GRAND GATHERING. Are there any advantages to this?

    Hi Debbie.

    Congratulations on travelling with a group big enough to be considered being a Grand Gathering!! There are a few advantages with the first being you can join other Grand Gatherings in some exclusive Disney Experiences.

    Please note that the same Experience must be purchased by at least eight guests 3 years and older in your party.

    These Magical Experiences include the Safari Celebration Dinner, the Good Morning Gathering and the International Dinner & IllumiNations Dessert Reception.

    You can add as many of these Experiences as you would like to your package. A Grand Gatherings Travel Planner can be reached at 407-WDW-PLAN. They will help you with reservations for the Experiences as well as help to coordinate your dining and lodging reservations.
