Travelling as group of 18. How can I book dining options together. Do I need to ring? In which case is their a uk number? Do I need them all on my account and do I need to manage their plans to be able to add them

    Hello Kelly,

Welcome to planDisney!  It's so bibbidi-bobbidi-brilliant to see you here today.

Oh boy!  Kelly, I'm supercalifragilisticexpialidocious excited to hear you're in the midst of planning what's sure to be an epic summer holiday for 18 oh-so-lucky Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World Resort.

One of the very best ways in which I've planned for my own large family holidays to the most magical place on earth is to be sure to link everyone together via Family & Friends on My Disney Experience.  Inviting everyone to share their plans via the handy Family & Friends element makes it super easy to see the whole group's plan in all one pixie-dusted place.

It's always more the merrier at Walt Disney World Resort, and what better way to celebrate each day within the magic than by dining together.  In my own experience of making Advanced Dining Reservations at select dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort, I've usually found it works well to split larger numbers of Guests down into smaller tables - for example; 3 x tables of 6 Guests = 18 in total.

Although, the caveat to having 3 separate Advanced Dining Reservations is that your group may not be seated close together.  With this in mind, my best suggestion is upon arriving at the dining location to place a request with the Cast Members that your 3 x tables would love to be seated close-by to each other if at all possible.

Kelly, please do bear in mind that not all requests can be met at Walt Disney World Resort, but you can be fully assured that Cast Members will always do their very best to assist wherever it's possible, or practical for them to do so.

It's always possible to speak in person on the phone with a Cast Member who can assist in making Advanced Dining Reservations on your behalf.  Guests like you and I from the United Kingdom are absolutely able to dial the UK freephone number for Dining Reservations contained within this Walt Disney World Resort Phone Directory.

It might be good to know that lucky Guests who are staying within a Disney Resorts Collection hotel are welcome to begin making Advanced Dining Reservations at 60-days ahead of check-in, PLUS for an additional 10-days into their pixie-dusted stay.

And lastly, I wanted to share that one of my own personal favourite dining locations is actually so well suited to a large party such as yours!  The Biergarten Restaurant is set within the Germany Pavillion at EPCOT and as it seats Guests on long refectory-style tables this dining location would be a great fun spot to consider for either a lunch or dinnertime meal.

Kelly, I hope that I've answered all your questions today!  As it's always a real delight for me as the current UK-based planDisney Panelist to offer some zip-a-dee-doo-dah-day assistance to a fellow British Guest, please do feel free to pop back anytime to me here at planDisney.

Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
