Hi Deanne,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Clearly, you have an exciting trip planned to the Walt Disney World Resort!
My family always purchases
Memory Maker because it gives us digital access to all of our photos taken with Disney
PhotoPass photographers. We buy Memory Maker at the advanced purchase price then start using it as soon as we arrive to the parks. Memory Maker also includes photos and videos taken on rides - screaming on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror? Yes, that's us.
Even if you do not buy Memory Maker, your pictures taken with Disney PhotoPass photographers will appear in your My Disney Experience Account as long as you scan your MagicBand, ticket or PhotoPass card after taking a photo and as long as that MagicBand, ticket or PhotoPass card is linked to your My Disney Experience Account. You can purchase those photos individually as well but we find the Memory Maker to be a better value. On our last trip, for example, we came back with over 200 photos. So for us, that meant that each photo was just under $1.00. For more information on product pricing, please review the
PhotoPass Product information.
Deanne, when I have gone with extended family, we have shared one Memory Maker. I add everyone to My Family & Friends List, then all of us share plans in My Disney Experience. Once we do that, each of us can see the photos. Be sure to check the
Photo Expiration policy and download your photos before they expire.
Oh and look-out for Tinker Bell. She likes to sneak in photos!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
