Nicola Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Hi we are travelling from GB and spending a fortnight in Orlando, for our second week we are staying in port Orleans riverside resort. We have 14 day hopper ticket, can we use the ticket in our first week, prior to our check in with Disney?

Hello Nicola and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
As the current British Mum here on the Panel I can totally relate to your great question about using the UK exclusive Ultimate Tickets which provide Guests with unlimited access into all 4 Disney Theme Parks, 2 Disney Water Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and much more besides.
I'm happy to share that once activated 14 day Ultimate Tickets will begin their countdown to expiry in 14 days time and you can of course use them during your 1st week prior to checking-in to the beautiful Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside if you so wished.
My top tips are for you to be sure to create a My Disney Experience account and then link your already purchased Ultimate Tickets which will enable making FastPass+ selections ahead of your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort and to further help with planning you may wish to send for these super magical and totally FREE Holiday Planning Tools
    Have a great Disney day.
