Lazy River at Typhoon Lagoon

Hi there. We’re travelling to Florida on Wednesday and have a few days in Orlando. We’d like to visit maybe 2 or 3 parks (magic kingdom, typhoon lagoon, Epcot centre). How can we purchase just three days? Flexible ideally. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Paula,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!

It sounds as though you’d like to purchase a 2-Day Theme Park Ticket with the Water Park and Sports Option for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort next week! Visiting Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park sounds like a wonderful plan.

I believe you’re still in the UK as of when I’m answering this question. If so, then the only Theme Park Tickets available for you to purchase prior to your departure are 7-Day or 14-Day Magic Tickets. If you’d like to purchase a Theme Park Ticket for a slightly shorter number of visits before you arrive in the United States, your options are somewhat limited. You may be able to visit the European version of the Walt Disney World Resort website and purchase your Theme Park Tickets there, but I understand that the transaction may not go through if your credit card is associated with your UK address.

If that doesn’t work, you’ll probably need to purchase your Theme Park Tickets when you arrive in the United States later this week. I would recommend that you purchase your tickets at the Disney Springs Welcome Center prior to the day on which you plan to visit one of the Theme Parks. That way, you’ll be able to get to the Magic and start your Disney Day more quickly on the days that you plan to visit with your family.

Tip: I strongly encourage you to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool to make sure that the date you’d like to visit is still available. Although you don’t need a reservation to visit Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, you will need one for both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. The good news is that both Easter and the extremely busy Spring Break period in the United States should be largely over at this point, so hopefully the crowds will start to abate somewhat. I’d definitely keep a close eye on reservation availability for Magic Kingdom Park – it’s the one that typically “sells out” faster than EPCOT. For example, as of right now, there are no reservations available for that park on either Wednesday, April 12 or Thursday, April 13, but all Theme Parks are available for the rest of the week.

I hope my answer helps you plan a fabulous visit to sunny Florida in a few short days! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
