Welcome to planDisney, Carrie-Ann!
It brought a lot of joy to my heart to see a fellow Guest from Merseyside! A summer visit to Walt Disney World is going to be "proper boss!" (*ahem* I mean, magical). Did you know that the
50th Anniversary Celebration is currently underway? Carrie-Ann, there's a whole new world to see and experience. I'm talking unique souvenirs, special snacks, EARidescent décor, spectacular shows, and even new rides. For example, this summer,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is opening in
EPCOT. It's going to be absolutely brilliant!
When it comes to purchasing tickets as a UK-based Guest, the cheapest and best option is to buy
Magic Tickets from the official
Walt Disney Travel Company website. As you mentioned, you can purchase either a 7-Day Ticket or a 14-Day Ticket, which includes unlimited access to all
four Theme Parks and the
two Water Parks, plus the
Park Hopper Option,
Memory Maker, and more! Not only that, but for a limited time, you'll also receive a $50
Disney Gift Card to use during your trip. Now that I live in the US, I'm seriously jealous of people who get to take advantage of this amazing deal!
However, I realize that you might not be able to visit for that long. If that's the case, then you can purchase your tickets once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. They can be purchased from the ticket booths at the Theme Park entrances or even the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. This method will be less kind to your wallet than the above offer. It's also worth bearing in mind that there are currently capacity limits at the Theme Parks. Therefore, I'd encourage you to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar as your trip gets closer.
Whatever you decide to do, Carrie-Ann, I hope you have a "belter" of a time.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is "quality." Make sure you arrive for park opening so that you can be first in line for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or Slinky Dog Dash. If you do only visit for a day, I'd highly recommend getting
Disney Genie+ added to your tickets so that you can maximize your Disney day.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Carrie-Ann. I appreciate you letting me dust off my Scouse-isms.
ChEARS,
Mike
