We are travelling in a few weeks on the Disney Wonder from Vancouver to Alaska, I am worried that my son won't eat anything offered to him in the dining areas. He is extemely picky eater chicken wings, chicken strips. Are these available in dining area?

    Welcome aboard, Marnie!

How exciting to hear that your magical cruise to Alaska will set sail in just a few more days. I'm sure that you and your family are very excited, and you're likely getting everything ready now. There's so much to do on the Disney Cruise, and eating is one of the activities that I enjoy a lot!

The great thing about the Disney Cruise, is that they are known to cater to their guests' varied palates. From special dietary needs to certain food restrictions and allergies, the Disney dining team will try their best to serve their guests' needs to the tee. The most important guests in the family are the little cruisers who do from time to time, test the wits of the crew. Picky eaters abound... I've got one myself. And it's always been a challenge for us to go out to restaurants, since we're just never sure if my picker eater would enjoy herself and eat anything. You won't have to worry about that on the Disney Cruise! They've taken all that worry away, and you'll be glad to know that they are very prepared to meet your picky eater. In fact, they'll make it so much fun for your son, that he'll enjoy stepping into the main dining rooms each and ever night.

The signature rotational dining on the Disney Cruise allows your same dining team to follow you at every restaurant on every night of your voyage. You'll get to know them, and they'll get to know you. The kids' menus do include Chicken strips, burgers, fries, and pasta just to name a few things for dinner. This would be a perfect time to have your son try a new item on the menu... along with his favorite chicken strips. You never know if he'll go for some Mickey Pasta, Mac & Cheese, or maybe pizza?  Steak? You can order 2 or more items for him to try, if you'd like. I doubt that he'll go hungry on the ship. Your servers can also suggest different items from the menu to try.

    Have a great voyage, Marnie!

    Bon voyage,
