We will be travelling on the Fantasy April 7, and have two children, 8 and 10. My husband and I plan to have some quiet time while the kids are in Oceaneer's Club/Lab. How are meals handled there for the kids?

    Hi Catherine!

The Disney Fantasy is going to be extraordinary and your vacation will be too!  I'm glad that you and your husband are planning some quiet time for yourselves while you're on your trip.  That's my favorite part of sailing with Disney Cruise Line.  My husband and I can have our own time without the kids, the kids can have a blast while they are being very well taken care of, and we can have tons of family time together too!

Don't worry about meal time for the kids.  Normally, I take my kids up to the deck (by the pools) before I start getting ready for my night out.  After they eat, I drop them off at the youth clubs.  That's just me.  Each youth club has several meal times scheduled throughout the day so that parents don't have worry about the kids being hungry or missing a meal time.  You can check your Personal Navigator each night to the next day's itinerary.  This way you'll know what activities your kids will be participating in, and what times meals are scheduled.  There are always several counselors who escort the kids to one of the restaurants.  By the way, whichever restaurant the kids are taken to is closed to all other Guests.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel and have a great sailing!
