Travelling with a family party of 9 which includes 3 kids - if we rent a van are car seats required

Since I don't know the ages of the children in your party, I can't fully help you. However, you should know that Florida law requires that children in passenger vehicles (the rules are different for buses and public transportation) be in dedicated car seats for ages three and under. Children ages four and five may be in a car seat, booster seat, or other device, but they must be restrained.

If you are renting a van, all the major car rental agencies also rent car seats, so you shouldn't have to bring yours from home if this seems cumbersome. The rental agencies will also have up to date information on the law will be able to recommend the appropriate seating for your children while traveling.

Car seats are not required or accepted on the free Disney transportation. This includes Magical Express buses, park buses, boats, and the monorail.

    Have a great trip!
