Hello, Ana,
I've found that it is most convenient to link a Disneyland Resort Vacation Package to the account of the individual who will be financially responsible for it. After a package is linked to a given account, that account becomes the primary owner of the package or reservation. The primary account can be used for paying off any remaining balance and incidentals and also for check-in ahead of time. It is also possible to create secondary links to a hotel reservation or Vacation Package. This is a way to share digital key features if desired.
Besides linking hotel reservations or Vacation Packages, it is also possible to link Theme Park Tickets, including park tickets from a Vacation Package to multiple accounts. The primary owner of a Vacation Package reservation can share the ticket ID numbers with other members of their party. Linking park tickets to multiple accounts can help with sharing the responsibilities of helping everyone enter the parks each day and managing return times if Lightning Lane passes are purchased for the tickets. For large parties, it can also be helpful to have tickets linked to different accounts in case the group happens to split up. When booking Lightning Lane return times, it can then be possible for one portion of the party to go to an attraction such as "it's a small world" while another portion of the party goes to an attraction like Matterhorn Bobsleds.
It sounds like you have a big family adventure ahead of you, Ana. I hope you have a magical time together.
