Hi, Maria! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you and your family will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon!
You are absolutely right that planning is essential when visiting the parks, especially with a large group. When you are arrive at Disneyland Park, head directly to City Hall to speak with Guest Services about
Disability Access Service. This service allows you to wait for an attraction outside of the queue and is specifically for Guests who cannot wait in traditional lines. The Disability Access Service card is typically for only up to six Guests, but special accommodations can be made for larger groups. Alert Guest Services to your party size and a manager will need to approve the request.
Other things to do to plan for your trip would be to research
attractions your group would like to ride and to explore different
dining options and make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. With large groups it is recommended to make reservations as soon as you are able. Also, if you are staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, start planning your days based off when
Extra Magic Hour is offered. You can enter Disneyland Park one hour early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The extra hour at Disney California Adventure Park is on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and is exclusively for Disneyland Resort Hotel Guests.
Please return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you may have. Have a great day!
