Welcome back, Brenda!
So happy you cruised back by
planDisney with another great question. That’s what we are here for! Frankly, I’m thrilled to be talking about Captain Mickey sailing the seven seas again after a long hiatus. Disney Cruise Line is ready to roll…scratch that, I meant to say sail!
All the relevant information about your
Disney Dream voyage is outlined in the
“Know Before You Go” section and will be updated as needed with additional information. These protocols are specific to the Disney Dream and do not apply to the other ships in the Disney fleet.
Since you will be arriving from outside the U.S., even though you are vaccinated, Disney Cruise Line still requires a negative COVID-19 PCR test (paid for at the Guest’s expense) taken between 5 days and 24 hours prior to the sail date AND a rapid PCR COVID-19 test at the terminal prior to boarding on Embarkation Day. The $65 fee for the Embarkation Day test will be charged to the folio of all Guests 12 years and older. While there is an exemption from these tests for vaccinated Guests, it does not apply to Guests arriving from outside the United States.
Bravo to you for wanting to know everything about the new protocols for sailing. I think this will make things less stressful just knowing what to expect. I certainly hope you agree. We want your Disney cruise to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Wishing you a DREAM vacation filled with lots of pixie dusted moments!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
