Hi, we are travelling to Disney World in October. Have a 5yr old and 3yr old boy and have two days to explore Disney World. Please provide me with best tips etc of what and where to go. Thks

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelly! Thank you for stopping by with your vacation planning question. I, myself, have young kids around this age, and after traveling to Walt Disney World Resort multiple times with them, I can easily tell you what their favorite things to do are.

Both of my kids adore Magic Kingdom, with it’s family friendly rides, slow moving attractions and audience-entertaining shows. There are only a handful of rides they will be too short for, and with Ride Switch Service available all over the resort, you may be able to take the 5 year old on a few things that they 3 year old may not yet be able to enjoy. I would also recommend a visit to Epcot, in order to ride Frozen, Grand Fiesta Tour and Journey Into Imagination, which my kids adore.  Playing in Figment’s playground and watching Epcot’s water fountains are a must for our trips. Most of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer pools, playgrounds and family friendly restaurants (complete with high chairs), so you will find plenty of amenities to make your trip as seamless as possible.

You can rent a stroller, make FastPass+ reservations and bring your own waters and snacks right into the parks, making your vacation easier than ever. I’d love to help you plan further, so please return to ask me a question or two about dining, travel or resort amenities. I’ll see ya' real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
