Hi, we are travelling to Disney World this Nov. My husband & child want to build both a light Saber & a droid. My question is can we ship merchandise purchased in DW direct to our home in Australia as we are going to other destinations after here.

Bright suns, Emma! Welcome to planDisney.

A trip to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is an absolute must when visiting The World's Most Magical Place. If you want to have a truly out-of-this-world experience, you'll definitely want to make appointments for Savi's Workshop and Droid Depot. Building your own lightsaber and astromech unit will make your Disney day "most impressive" and surely sprinkle some extra pixie dust on your vacation.

Emma, unfortunately, at this time, it's not possible to ship lightsabers and droids back to planet Earth. Ever since the First Order infiltrated Batuu, these items have been considered contraband. However, things can change quickly in the Outer Rim of the galaxy. By the time you arrive in November, the Resistance may have more control over Black Spire Outpost. Therefore, I'd recommend checking again closer to your arrival date.

If you still can't ship your items back home from Batuu, you might be pleased to know that you can travel with them on your flight. Since you'll be building your own lightsaber from Savi's Workshop, you'll receive a carrying case. This can help you keep it hidden from the watching eyes of any Stormtroopers during transportation. If you decide to carry these items with you when boarding your flight, you might want to store them in the overheard compartment after the bags have been placed. This will help prevent people's luggage from causing any damage to your merchandise.

If shipping these items is absolutely essential, Emma, you can ship them directly through international carriers like Fed Ex and UPS. However, you'll have to leave the Walt Disney World Resort to find one of those stores.

I hope that's helpful, Emma. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

    Till the Spires!
