We are going to be travelling to Disney World in March with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. We have already made a reservation to at Akershus, but I am thinking I would like to do another character meal. Which one would be best suited for a toddler?

    Hi, Melissa!

When traveling with little ones, my absolute favorite character meal at Walt Disney World is The Crystal Palace. First, the buffet has such variety and fresh, delicious choices that you'll be stuffed before it's time for dessert...and there is no wait. Once you are seated and your server takes your beverage order, you are free to head to the buffet. Hungry, tired little ones don't like to wait for a meal (heck, hungry tired adults don't like to wait, either!) so this is the perfect place to stop for a bite, rest and recharge...deliciously. Your little one will ALSO love meeting Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore, while dining right in Magic Kingdom.

A similar experience that's not too far away is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Just a quick monorail ride away, Chef Mickey's is a great buffet with Mickey and Pals. If you'll be in Disney's Hollywood Studios, check out Hollywood & Vine, where you and your little one can dine with June from Disney's Little Einsteins, Jake the Neverland Pirate, Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso at either lunch or dinner. We also love Supercalifragilistic Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian. The Mad Hatter is always so fun as he chats with both Guests and other characters such as Mary Poppins and Alice in Wonderland. Tigger and Winnie the Pooh mingle with Guests as well.

There are so many options, Melissa, but these are our personal favorites, especially when little ones are with us.  Send more questions about these or other options as you think of them. We love to help!
