Hey Jack!
Hip Hip Hooray! Your trip is coming up so soon. It's an amazing time to visit Walt Disney World with the
50th Anniversary Celebration in full swing. I hope that you have the opportunity to check out the
Beacons of Magic during your stay. Watching these beautiful icons come alive each evening is one of my favorite new experiences.
And speaking of magic, is there anything more magical than traveling with little ones? The memories you make will be lifelong treasures. As special as visiting with children will be, it can also raise many questions. And you ask a great one. Baby carriers and backpack style carriers are allowed, as long as they follow the current
property guidelines. The current policy states "Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high are not allowed in any theme park or water park". Because you are referring to a backpack carrier, I believe it would need to measure within these guidelines.
And since you are arriving with little ones, I recommend checking out the
Baby Care Centers located in each of the four theme parks. These locations are great for diaper changing, feeding, or just taking a break in a cool, quiet space with the youngest members of your travel party. The use of these centers is completely complimentary and everything you need is readily available. I have personally used these centers on many occasions with my family. There was more than one trip where we ran out of baby wipes or needed to rock someone to sleep. The Baby Care Centers are quiet, welcoming, and in many situations, a lifesaver! Especially if you forgot to bring diapers to EPCOT. It happens to the best of us.
I hope that you have a wonderful time on your upcoming stay. We're so excited to see ya real soon!
