We are travelling to disney world in February 2011 and would like to see Disney Playhouse- Live on Stage. Do you need tickets for this? Is it everyday or just certain times. I see it is available but can not find any other information.

    Hi Amy,

Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! at Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) is one my boys' favorites.  It is included in the cost of admission and you will not need a ticket to attend.  The show lasts approximately 22 minutes and performances are held several times daily.  The first show usually begins sometime within the first hour of regular theme parks hours for the day.  It is not performed during Extra Magic Hours.  When you enter DHS, pick up a Times Guide which will list the performance times the day you visit.

Here's a little tip - there are no seats in the Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! theater so everyone sits on the floor.  Don't sit in front near the stage.  Some of the puppets aren't very big and don't "stand" very high over the stage floor.  If you're sitting in front, its hard to see them over the stage.  Sitting towards the back offers you a better view and a little more leg room.

Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
