Hello! I will be travelling to Disney World in Fall 2013 with 11 people - 5 kids and 6 adults. There is a family of 5 travelling with us. What are our best options for WDW resort hotels with rooms for 5 people; either value or moderate. Thanks!

Hi Kristen! It sounds like you are planning a great trip with family and friends for the fall months at Disney. It is my favorite time of year for a visit as the weather begins to cool down and the holiday activities are in full swing!

My first choice for a resort for a family of five would be the Art of Animation Family suites. These will offer you a variety of sleeping arrangements with a queen bed in its own separate bedroom giving you some privacy from kids etc.  It also gives you two full bathrooms which is always important when trying to get out to the parks in the mornings.

Other good choices include Port Orleans Riverside and Fort Wilderness Cabins. These both offer sleeping for five with the cabins up to six guests. You will only have one bathroom in each but the cabins will give you a full kitchen which can help with dining costs. Fort Wilderness is a unique area of Disney and such a fun place to be. It is home to Mickey's Backyard Barbecue, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, and Chip and Dales Campfire Singalong. Both resorts offer great pools and activities and it just depends on what you are looking for in room amenities and your budget. Any Disney resort will give you a magical vacation!
