Howdy, Carinne! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You're in for a rootin', tootin' time when you and your gang take on the Nachos Rio Grande Challenge at
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn! I experienced this "challenge" for myself with 11 other friends back in February during the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, so I am excited to tell you all about it.
First, this unique dining opportunity is only available at Pecos Bill's between 3pm-6pm. I highly recommend arriving prior to 3pm as there are a set number of reserved tables in the restaurant for this experience - you'll want to make sure you're accommodated.
Then, get ready for the wildest meal in the wilderness as Cast Member come a singin' to your table as loud as possible. It's a fuss the whole restaurant watches! There will be clapping, singing, hootin' & hollerin' going on. Oh, and lots & lots of nachos - they don't call it a challenge for nothin'! The best part, you can customize your nachos with your favorite fixin's. And, if the nachos aren't enough, you'll finish your meal with a basket of mini-churros and chocolate sauce.
At the end of the meal, you'll receive a certificate and deputy badge button to commemorate your experience. It was one of the most fun meals I've had. The Cast Member interaction is fantastic and the nachos are excellent! The price for this spectacle of a meal is $90, whether you have two people or 11 people, and it is not included in any of the Disney Dining Plans. However, if you have any Annual Passholders in your party, you will receive an Annual Passholder discount, which brings the price to about $70 total, not a bad deal if divided between you! My party of 12 ordered two and there was plenty left over.
I hope this helps, Carinne! You're in for a knee-slappin' good time.
