Ahoy there, Natasha, and welcome to planDisney! Your cruise on the Disney Wonder will be here before you know it, so let’s get you the answers you need so you can finalize your
packing list.
Your wish is my command because you can absolutely bring energy drinks onboard! There actually isn’t a specific numerical limit, as long as the drinks are unopened and can fit in an approved-size carry-on bag. Just like bottled water or other non-alcoholic beverages, they cannot be packed in checked bags. And since staterooms aren’t always ready right when you step onboard (usually not until around 1:30 p.m.), you may want to consider a rolling carry-on so you’re not juggling a heavy bag while trying to enjoy those magical first moments onboard.
Speaking of water, you will find filtered drinking water available at the restaurants and beverage stations. You can also purchase bottled water (& energy drinks) at several locations, like Cove Café or one of the lounges onboard. Finally, you could choose to
order bottles of water in advance of your trip that will be delivered directly to your stateroom.
Whatever combination you choose, I recommend bringing your own reusable mugs, especially since the beverage stations also offer soda, coffee, and hot teas throughout the day. I may also have been known to use those reusable mugs to make ice cream floats poolside with the complimentary soft-serve and soda. To me, there’s nothing better than watching Funnel Vision with a frosty treat in hand!
I hope this helps you feel fully prepared (and even more excited) for your upcoming voyage, Natasha. If any other questions pop up between now and embarkation day, I hope you’ll cruise back to see us here at
planDisney!
Cheers,
Sami
