I am travelling to disney with my 3yo son who has autism, with a very intense fear of Handdryers. Are there any restrooms in the parks without handdryers?. Also, beside getting DAS, any other advice for making his vacation easier?

Hi there, Andreina - welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad you've found us and stopped by with your question today. Here at planDisney we love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

Andreina, while most of the public restrooms will have hand dryers, there may be companion and/or family restrooms or other specific restrooms without them. I do know that some newer restrooms have modern hand dryers that might not be easy to spot visually. I mention this because if the fear is related to noise, you may not visually notice these newer hand dryers - some are even built into the hand-washing faucets! I wouldn't want there to be any surprises.

I suggest that you contact Disability Services via phone and/or email in advance of your trip to explain any unique needs in your crew and to learn about potential solutions. This team's goal is to ensure that every Guest has a magical experience, so they will be the best point of contact for making a plan that meets the needs of everyone in your crew!

I hope this information is helpful - stop by any time with more questions as you continue planning!
