Travelling to Disney in June from Canada and planning on using the ME. Would prefer to pick up our own bags to have with us. Is there any hassle by doing so with ME?

    Hi Bob!

Not a problem at all!  To paraphrase the classic Disney song from Beauty and the Beast, "Be our Guest, Be our Guest, Put our Service to the Test!"  When using Disney's Magical Express, your luggage won't arrive in your room for about three hours after arrival.  For many, this is no problem and they just pack a carry on pack with the necessities.  However, many, like you, would rather pick up their own luggage and carry it with them on the shuttle bus.

In order to let the airport personnel know of your plans, you MUST NOT attach the yellow sticker luggage tags onto your bags.  You may certainly attach any other tags that you would like.  Without the yellow luggage stickers, the baggage handlers will not pick up your things and they will arrive on the appropriate carousel.  You will just need to remember to pick them up!

The Magical Express shuttle driver will be happy to store your luggage in the compartment below the bus for you.  When you arrive at your resort, simply remind the driver to get your bags out for you.  Just a friendly reminder... tips are greatly appreciated!  Have a wonderful vacation and I'd love to hear from you again!

    Much pixie dust,
