We are travelling to Disney in Florida on the 27th of June, my wife will be using an electric scooter to get about, is there a special parking area or do we have to fit it on to the trolley bus that takes you to the monorail

    Hello, Derek!

How exciting your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just days away! If you have a valid handicap parking placard, then you are welcome to park in the designated areas. Just show the parking Cast Members you have a valid permit and they will direct you. Otherwise, you will need to park in the standard self parking areas. Courtesy trams available to transport Guests from the main parking lots to the entrances to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom and to the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can access the monorail or ferry to the Magic Kingdom. In my experience, Guests must step up into the tram, and those with wheelchairs or strollers must fold them before entering. Guests using ECV units will need to drive their units to the entrances or the loading areas at Ticket and Transportation Center. Your wife should have no issues driving her scooter onto the monorail or ferry, as both offer ramp accessibility.

I hope this helps! I hope you make many unforgettable memories during your vacation, and if you have additional questions, please let us know!

    Have a magical day!
