We are travelling on the Disney Dream in February with out 5 month old and our three year old. I was wondering what time meals are for "main" seating vs. "second" seating? Need to know when my kids are actually going to eat :). Thnx!!

    Hi, Jillian!

Congratulations on your cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- after having just returned from a Dream voyage, I can tell you that you will be sufficiently entertained and pampered!

The two seatings for dinner are the first (which is around 6 p.m.) and the second (which is around 8:30 p.m.) Then, the shows are timed accordingly with the first at 6 p.m. and the second at 8:30 p.m.  Therefore, you'll either be booked for dinner/show or show/dinner.

This may sound backwards, but I actually like to have the second dinner seating for my family when my kids were younger. I liked for them to see the show when they were less tired -- so that they could sit still without falling asleep. We sometimes fed them a quick service meal or room service prior to the show and then checked them into the kids' clubs during our late dinner. Or, on occasion, we would let them eat their meals while we had an appetizer, and then, we would check them into the kids' clubs so that my husband and I could linger over our entree and dessert. The Oceaneer's Club and Lab, and It's a Small World Nursery will feed your child and baby and even settle them down for a nap or get them calmed down for bedtime. That plan worked really well for our family.

I hope this has helped you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
