Ahoy there Adriana!
I am so excited that you will be able to experience the Disney Dream in May! I just returned from a cruise on the Dream and I can guarantee you are going to be enchanted by this amazing ship.
In general, the dress code on the Dream is "resort casual," which means comfortable vacation clothes like shorts, tops, slacks, jeans, sundresses, etc. If you are booked on a three-day cruise, there is no designated "formal night." Gentlemen would likely be comfortable dining in nice shorts and a collared shirt. A sundress or nice shorts with a blouse would work for the ladies. I like to wear a nice dress when I dine at Royal Palace because of its atmosphere, but this is not required. However, on a four-day cruise, one night is designated as formal night and gentlemen would be most comfortable in a jacket and tie. Ladies should wear dresses or dressy pantsuits. There is a similar formal dress code for anyone wishing to dine in the adults-only restaurants, Remy or Palo.
You can expect a pirate-themed night on the ship, but you are not required to bring anything special to wear. Pirate bandannas will likely be distributed by your cabin steward. Be sure to include swimwear if you plan to use the pools. You know you can't leave the Dream without riding the AquaDuck, so be sure to pack that swimsuit! Bring a beach cover-up, water shoes, and sunscreen for your days at Castaway Cay and Nassau.
You can find even more information about
what to pack on the Disney Cruise Line website.
I'll be sending pixie dust your way as you prepare to set sail on the Disney Dream!
