travelling with my daughter's family, they have 3 boys, 7,4 and 2, looking for a joining rooms, which resorts have these

Hi Karen! I am so excited to be answering your question because multi-generational travel is definitely a great bonding experience!

I'm happy to tell you that each Disney Resort Category from Value to Deluxe has connecting rooms that are subject to availability. The only exceptions to this are Family Suites and some of the Disney Deluxe Villa rooms. However, I find it very important to note that connecting rooms are requests and not guarantees. Here are a few tips on how to get those connecting rooms:

    1) Call Disney Reservations and ensure that the request is on your reservation. If there are two separate reservations, make sure it is on both!

    2) If you plan on completing Online Check-In 60 days before arrival, you can usually make a request then.

    3) I also suggest contacting your Disney Resort hotel directly about a week before your vacation. I have even faxed Disney Resort hotels directly about 4 days before my arrival to make certain requests such as building location and connecting rooms.

Since you are traveling as a large group, be sure to add each other as Friends and Family on your My Disney Experience accounts! This facilitates making those FastPass+ selections as well as make Disney Dining Reservations for the whole crew!

    Have a magical day!
