Hi Leane,
The
Holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort is nothing short of magical, and since you’re visiting Christmas week, you're in for a truly unforgettable experience. The entire resort is transformed into a winter wonderland, with festive decorations adorning every corner, twinkling lights illuminating the parks, and the sweet aroma of holiday treats filling the air.
At
Magic Kingdom Park, you'll be greeted by an enormous Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., with garlands, wreaths, and ornaments all around. The entire park glows with holiday spirit, and special seasonal snacks make the experience even more incredible. The joy of Christmas is truly palpable, with every detail designed to make you feel the season's warmth.
Historically, Christmas week at Magic Kingdom has been packed with festive events. I’ve experienced Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, featuring beloved Disney characters in their holiday best, and Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, a beautiful display set to lovely holiday music.
Additionally, over at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, the holiday magic continues. The park is known for its nostalgic, vintage-style Christmas decorations, especially on Sunset Boulevard, where the Sunset Seasons Greetings show lights up the Hollywood Tower Hotel with projections and holiday stories.
While the exact schedule for December 23rd-31st hasn’t been released yet, these traditions give you a good sense of what could be in store this year. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for official announcements and the most up-to-date information as we get closer to the holiday season.
