Hi there, We are travelling with a child under two. I get an error when I try to make an account for him. Is this because he is under two? Also, when booking dining, do I not include him in the numbers? Thanks!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question, Shawn! It looks like your trip is just around the riverbend, so let's see if we can get your child's profile in your Disney account squared away.

I have two young children, and each of them has a profile that I manage under my Disney account. My son was under two when I created his profile, so it is possible to create profiles for young guests. Here are the steps I took to create profiles for my kids:
    • Go to the Walt Disney World Resort website
    • Hover over "My Disney Experience" in the top right corner
    • Select "My Family & Friends"
    • Click "Add a Guest" at the top right
    • Choose "Create a New Guest"
    • On the next screen, hit "Under 13"
    • Enter the required information for your child
This will create a profile for your child under your account so you can easily manage plans, tickets, and reservations for them during your vacation. I even set up MagicMobile Service for my kids so I don't have to worry about a MagicBand+ or Key to the World cards for them. Everything is on my device and ready to go!

If you continue to get an error when attempting to make a profile for your child, reach out to a Guest Services Cast Member and they will be able to support you. Just choose the "My Disney Experience App" option in the category dropdown menu.

Now, let's talk about booking dining. You should absolutely include all guests in your party when booking a dining reservation. This helps the restaurant plan for all the people in your group when arranging seating for your meal. If your plans change and your party will be larger or smaller, you can always modify your existing reservation to accurately reflect the number of people in your party who will be dining for that meal.

Ok, Shawn! You should be all set to create a My Disney Experience profile for your child and book dining reservations for your party. Please let us know if there are additional questions we can answer, as we love helping guests plan their most magical vacations!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
