I am travelling from Canada to WDW in September for nearly 3 weeks. What are my options for park tickets? On the website it says there is a maximum of 10 days for a ticket and there are no annual passes selling at the moment. Help!

    Bonjour Anisha!

Thank you so much for sending us your question today, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I always get so excited when I see a question from a fellow Canadian in our queue, and I am honoured to be answering your question today. How excited are you to be leaving the chilly Canadian weather for warm and sunny Florida? I know that was one of my favourite parts about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort.

Unfortunately, the sale of Annual Passes, other than the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, is currently paused. Since non-Florida residents can only purchase the Disney Incredi-Pass, we Canadians cannot buy an Annual Pass at this time. However, this does not mean that you will not be able to buy one for your visit! Annual Passes could truly return at any time, and since we do not know when they will return exactly, the best way to stay informed is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or the Walt Disney World Resort website. If you want to make sure to secure your theme park reservations, you may purchase a regular theme park ticket in the meantime. Then, if the sale of Annual Passes has resumed in time for your visit, you will be able to upgrade your theme park tickets for an Annual Pass and only pay for the price difference! Even if you were to purchase a 10-day theme park ticket and make ten theme park reservations, you would not be limited to the five reservations Annual Passholders can make upon upgrading your ticket. Ask a Cast Member at the ticketing window or at Disney Springs' Disney Ticket Center to transfer your theme park reservations onto your Annual Pass, and voilà, you will be all set for your magical year!

Now, let's talk about the special offerings you will be able to experience during your vacation! Indeed, you have picked an especially magical time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort during the World's Most Magical Celebration. Come celebrate the resort's 50th anniversary with brand new fireworks, unique treats and celebratory merchandise. Also in honour of the anniversary, you will be able to experience some returning favourites such as Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire and Disney's Festival of Fantasy Parade. You can also catch the 50th-anniversary cavalcade, including Mickey and his friends, and meet Mickey at the Town Square Theatre in his EARidescent costume. With so much time leading up to your vacation, make sure to keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for any other returning offerings!

I hope this was helpful, Anisha, and that you and your family will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. It is always my pleasure to help a fellow Canuck!

    Have a magical day,
