Hi, I will be travelling from Canada and would like to know if the AC (Air Canada) conversion prepaid Visa card can be used on the site. Thank you

    Salut Chantal!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to ask us such a great question! I always get so excited whenever I see fellow Québécois Guests in our queue, and I am sure that many Canadians will be glad you asked this question. I know how memorable Disney vacations are to us Canadians, so it is an honour to help you in your planning process!

Now, I am happy to say that, yes, prepaid Visa cards can be used at the Walt Disney World Resort as a form of payment. Indeed, you can even use prepaid Visa cards and Disney Gift Cards for your purchases in person, and I think it even makes budgeting easier! The only thing I would suggest is to research the CIBC Air Canada card a bit more as it seems that there may be particularities with restaurants and services that require tips. Otherwise, you will be good to use it like any credit card!

Speaking of which, I especially love using Disney Gift Cards and prepaid cards during the EPCOT Festivals, and you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival! While these festivals are amazing and add so much to your vacation, it can be easy to spend more money than you intended to as you go around the food booths. For that reason, I highly recommend using a prepaid card for that purpose or getting a Disney Gift Card to keep yourself on budget! In the past, Disney Gift Cards have even been available at the theme park with fun designs for that year's edition of the Food & Wine Festival, so it allows you not to spend too much while also getting a fun souvenir. Plus, you can add more money to these gift cards to continue using them outside of EPCOT.

I hope this was helpful, Chantal, and that you and your fellow little chefs will have the best day ever on your next Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach back out. As Remy said: "Vous serez toujours la bienvenue chez Remy!"

    À bientôt et bon appétit,

    Ariane
