I am travelling from Canada and is an Airmiles collector. Is it true that I can not use my Airmiles to purchase a park pass, if I am staying at a Disney resort on the meal plan ?

    Hello again, Kathryn!

In order to participate in Disney's Dining Plan, guests must purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package which consists of your Disney Resort Stay and park tickets, although there are special circumstances for Disney Vacation Club members and Annual Pass Holders.  Not to worry, there is a way that you can still purchase your tickets through Airmiles and participate in Disney's Dining Plan.

Magic Your Way Packages have no minimum stay requirements and only require at least a 1 day ticket, your Disney Dining Plan credits will be based on the number of nights you are staying and not your park admission.  I suggest booking a Magic Your Way Package with a 1-day base ticket so that you may participate in Disney's Dining Plan, then buy your remaining park tickets using your Airmiles to take advantage of the savings.  This will allow you to buy your tickets with Airmiles and participate in Disney's Dining Plan throughout the entire duration of your vacation.

I hope this helps your planning, Kathryn and if you need any more advice, you know where to find me!

    Best Wishes!
