Hi I am travelling to Barcelona for a 7 night Med cruise with my 13 year old daughter. We spend all our holidays in Orlando usually so this is all new to us both. Any helpful advice regarding the activities available for her age group please.

    Hi Lynn!

Our son was 10 on our Disney Magic Mediterranean cruise and he absolutely loved the adventures at each port. The Med cruise is port-intensive in that you'll be touring a lot of ports in a short amount of time. Some ports will require many hours away from the ship. Our favorite days were in Rome and Pompeii!

While aboard the ship, there are activities for the kids and parents to share together and/or separately. A perfect vacation!

Young teens will find plenty of organized activities geared to their age group. In addition, your daughter can take in a movie, go swimming, join in Karaoke and dance parties. These are all activities that you can do together too. One of our son's favorite memories aboard a Disney ship was when he went to see a late night movie by himself!

In Edge, 11-13 year olds can hang-out or join group activities such as Guitar Hero Challenge, Crafts Galore, Stop the Bus, and Marshmallow Madness. Scavenger Hunts are very popular! Each day the Personal Navigator will list a multitude of activities!

Don't forget to take in the Broadway-quality shows in the Walt Disney Theatre!
