I'm excited to hear you are returning to
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge this summer! This resort is one of my favorites and is a home away from home for my family. We've stayed here on multiple occasions and the resort has so much to offer. I'm still in awe every time I walk into the grand lobby and continue out back to the savanna to see the animals. We love admiring all of the African art and fixtures that help make it so fascinating. The dining here is top-notch and the cuisine perfectly depicts the regions that it is representing. I highly recommend trying out one of these restaurants during your stay if you have not done so already.
Currently, there are no special offers for tickets to the four theme parks, but you will have some options to add on to them to make your experience even more enjoyable. First, you'll need to decide how many days you want to visit the parks. The more days you choose will bring down the average cost per day of your ticket. Second, you will have the chance to add the
Park Hopper Option and/or the
Water Park & Sports Option to your tickets. Park Hopper tickets allow you to visit more than one theme park each day, while the other option will give you the chance to incorporate the water parks into your visit. Depending on the type of ticket you decide on, you can add on
Disney Genie+ and Memory Maker during your purchase. Disney Genie+ is a perfect service to have if you want to minimize your wait time for attractions and bypass the standby queue.
The only restrictions on your tickets are that they are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Once you make the purchase, you will not be able to receive a refund for them. You will however never lose the value that you spent on the tickets. If for some reason you are unable to make it on the dates you selected, you will be able to either change the dates or use this value toward a future ticket purchase.
Theme park reservations are required for entry into any of the four theme parks. Once you have purchased your tickets, log on to your
My Disney Experience account to make your reservations to the parks you wish to visit on select dates. If you added the park hopper option to your tickets, you will only need to make a reservation to the first park you plan to visit each day. Also, you will need to enter this park before visiting any of the other parks on that day.
