    Hello Angela,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you're planning to join us from New South Wales for the runDisney Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend in January 2025! It's a truly magical experience, and as a fellow runner in the event, I'm thrilled to share the journey with you. Staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is a fantastic choice, offering a delightful blend of comfort and convenience right in the heart of Walt Disney World Resort.

Regarding transportation to the start and finish lines of the races, I have great news. Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort are indeed provided with complimentary bus transportation to and from all runDisney events. (Please see the runDisney FAQs).These buses are specifically for runDisney participants and typically begin running very early on race mornings to ensure all runners arrive at the starting line with plenty of time to warm up and soak in the exciting atmosphere.

Make sure to check with the hotel's guest services upon your arrival for the bus schedule and the pick-up location, as these can vary slightly with each event. The staff there will be well-versed in accommodating runDisney participants, and they can provide you with any additional details you might need for race day preparations.

It's going to be a fantastic event, Angela, and I look forward to possibly crossing paths during the marathon! It's always more fun to share these experiences with fellow Disney and running enthusiasts from around the globe. If you have any more questions as you continue to plan your trip or need tips for your race preparations, feel free to reach out.

Best of luck with your training, and see you at the finish line!

    Warm regards,

    ~Yael
