Travelling from Australia on a 21 night holiday via sunny Hawaii, We will be boarding the Alaska Disney Wonder cruie in july and due to luggage restrictions and differing weather conditions i was wondering what you would advise to pack for dining. Thanks D

    Hi, Deonne!

Wow! What a fabulous vacation you have planned, and I certainly understand your packing dilemma! Of course, you'll need clothes that do "double duty" in Hawaii and Alaska -- which will be tricky due to varying climates. Therefore, for dinner in the evenings I would think about packing a plain dress, skirt or slacks for women/girls in your group -- then, accessories can be switched out.  For the gentlemen onboard the Alaskan itinerary, you'll need to pack one suit for formal night and semi-formal night. For the remaining nights at dinner, my guys wear the same khaki pants and switch out collared shirts. In the evenings, you'll mainly be indoors since it will be too chilly to be on deck after the sun goes down.

Remember to pack a rain jacket, closed-toe walking shoes and layers for your Alaskan voyage. Plus, you can always send your laundry out to be done when you're onboard the Disney Wonder, or you will have access to guest laundry. I hope that helps you plan.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
