Hi Andrea,
Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you for continuing to trust us to support your planning for your magical vacation.
On the US Disneyland site, we can see the
daily schedule about 6 weeks in advance. I noticed that Fantasmic! is not happening on the same days that the
dining package is unavailable. I know that news may be a bibbidi bobbidi bummer, but there are other alternatives that might pique your interest.
1)
Mickey’s Mix Magic: This projection show and fireworks will still be taking place most nights at Disneyland. The projections will be along Main Street, on Sleeping Beauty Castle, and on It’s a Small World. On select nights, fireworks will accompany the projections. Be sure to download the Disneyland app when you arrive, so you can check the daily schedule and see if fireworks are included. When I watch the fireworks, I like to view them from the bottom of Main Street, between the Refreshment Corner and Plaza Point. That way, you get a full view of the castle and can see the Main Street projections.
2)
Fire of the Rising Moons: This is a galactic perspective of the nightly fireworks from Galaxy's Edge. I suggest watching the show from the Millennium Falcon. Unique music is played for this celebration, making you feel like you’re truly in a galaxy far, far away. Since your trip is during the
Season of the Force, there will be a special edition of this show called
“Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga.” This will include new projections for guests to enjoy.
3)
World of Color – ONE: If you have a Park Hopper or are planning a visit to California Adventure, this is a fantastic nighttime water show. The show features scenes from Moana, Star Wars, and The Avengers (just to name a few). Every time the Avengers section starts, I get goosebumps! World of Color offers special seating for guests who book a
dining package or
dessert party. Imagine watching the show from a special viewing area while enjoying delicious desserts!
I hope these are intriguing alternatives, Andrea. If you have any other questions or need further assistance with planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
Have a magical vacation!
– Melinda
