I am travelling alone to WDW in September and staying at CBR. Can I request a room near Old Port Royale or do I need to upgrade from my standard room?

    Hi there Marie,

You are certainly welcomed to make a room location request and based on availability, your request *could be granted even if you are booked into a lower category.  If you want a location that is guaranteed closer to the main building and transportation, than an upgrade would be a good idea.  Even then, I would still call in to request a room designation close to Old Port Royale.

Once again, special requests are granted on the basis of availability at the time of check in, but please feel free to call the Walt Disney Travel Company at (407) WDISNEY to have these requests attached to your profile.  Also, always mention the request when you arrive to check in!  I have felt this to be helpful in securing the location I desire.

    Best Wishes,
