I am travelling alone and I am about to book the hotel + pass + dining card deal to sept 2023. If I book it to myself, and later on a friend decide to join me, can she stay in the same hotel room? Do I need to pay extra for such arrangement? Thanks.

    Seja bem-vinda ao planDisney, Beatriz!

Thank you for taking the time to send us a question. I am thrilled to help a fellow Brazilian plan a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Although I love going on Disney adventures with family and friends, I also have a great time visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth alone. That is why I am glad to hear you are considering staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, especially if you are a solo traveler. You can stay right in the middle of the magic, enjoy complimentary transportation, Early Theme Park Entry, and many other benefits.

Please note that all reservation changes are subject to the terms and conditions at the time of booking. Since your friend is considering joining you, I recommend verifying modification and cancellation policies before purchasing your vacation package. Depending on the terms and conditions of your reservation, it may be possible to add your friend to your reservation, but please note that all modifications are subject to availability, and new charges may apply. If you purchase a vacation package including tickets and a stay at a Disney Resort hotel, your friend will be included for the entire stay and will have the same theme park tickets. Remember to confirm your reservation details with your travel agent before booking.

planDisney tip: One of my favorite things about traveling alone is being able to pack light while visiting the parks. I usually take a small bag with my mobile phone, a power bank to recharge my phone on the go, a government-issued photo ID, and a MagicBand. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can use a MagicBand or their mobile device with Disney MagicMobile to enter the theme parks (valid admission required) and open their hotel room door. Another great feature of MagicBands is that they can be used to charge food and merchandise purchases to your room account during your stay – I never take my wallet to the parks. In addition, I recommend using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering with your mobile device and the My Disney Experience app to avoid waiting in line to order meals at quick-service locations. I also suggest purchasing Memory Maker and letting Disney PhotoPass service photographers capture all the beautiful memories you will make during your visit.

I hope this information is helpful, Beatriz. Come back to visit us if you have additional questions, and have a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
