Traveling w 2 & 4 yr olds. Deciding b/w light-weight, not-nap-friendly umbrella strollers or my heavy-duty extremely nap-friendly double stroller - allowing us to stay much longer at the parks. Can I bring it on the monorail? R there size restrictio

Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

What a great question! Considering the ages of your children, ALWAYS seek out the item that speaks comfort.  Your little ones will be tired by late afternoon.  If they are anything like mine were at that age, the "cranky spells" will be in full effect by this time of day.  I highly recommend bringing the heavy duty stroller, if it falls under the guidelines I stated below, so they can nap throughout the day thus allowing you to remain at the parks well into the evening hours.  A well rested child is a recipe for a most MAGICAL vacation.

Strollers can be no larger than 36" x 52" (92 x 132cm) as stated in the FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS page.  When boarding the monorail, you do not have to fold up your stroller. However, if you are using the Disney Transportation System (buses), you will need to fold them prior to boarding.  The drivers are very patient and sweet, so do not feel like you are holding up the bus.  Trust me, you will have MANY families around you doing the exact same thing.

~Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON"!~.
