We are traveling with a 6 yr old & 4 yr old twins in Sept. Can't decide between Bay Lake, the MK experience, Animal kingdom for the atmosphere or the Boardwalk Villas for the centralization. We love all the parks and will spend equal time at all.

    Hello, Mike!

No wonder you can't decide; these are all fabulous!

First, Bay Lake Tower can't be beat for its convenience to Magic Kingdom. We often request a view of Bay Lake, but I also recommend booking a villa with a Theme Park view. Imagine that at least one night, the little ones just can't quite make it in the parks late enough to see Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.  With your very own Theme Park View, everyone can watch the fireworks, while the special soundtrack streams through your television.  Very cool.

Next, Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas is a resort unlike any you'll see elsewhere. With a savannah-view room, each morning is another surprise of nature; you never know who will be outside your window when you wake up. You'll enjoy eating breakfast and using the Wildlife Field Guide to try to identify each new creature who greets you. It is further from the other parks, so your travel time may be a bit longer. (Then again, Kidani Village's Uwanja Camp, an "animal observation site-themed water playground" will more than make up for that...you might not get your kids out of there for hours!)

Lastly, Disney's Boardwalk Villas is a fantastic location, especially for those who enjoy the proximity to two parks (both Disney's Hollywood Studios as well as Epcot.) The nighttime activities along the BoardWalk are also a great convenience to have right in your own backyard.

Since all of these resorts have something unique about them, perhaps consider if any of them offer you something new, too, or if you'll be back in the future, when the kids are older, and can aim for one of the other properties at that time.  This is a tough choice, Mike! But it's a win, no matter what you choose!
