I will be traveling with my 9 yr old are there any suggestions for a rest area or a place to take a quick nap while there?? Perhaps a first aid area??

    Hi Karen,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
My best recommendation for stepping away from the Magic, music and fun at the Parks in order to take a nap is to book a Disneyland Resort Hotel room!
As you many know, there are currently three Disneyland Resort Hotels, located within walking distance of the Downtown Disney District and the Parks.
There is also a monorail that transports hotel guests from the Downtown Disney District to the Parks and back, which saves a lot of time.
If you book ahead of time, you can get a vacation package that includes hotel accommodations, Park tickets and even a character dining experience! What's awesome is that you can book with a deposit and pay installments on the balance due, generally up to a month before your trip.
As far as quiet rest areas inside the Parks, my favorite one inside Disneyland is located toward the end of Main Street U.S.A by the famous Little Red Wagon corn dog stand. There are benches there, next to the Baby Care Center. That particular area is shaded, quiet and not too many people hang out around there.
At the Disney California Adventure Park, I love taking a break over at Hollywood Land, outside of the Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue! attraction. There are plenty of benches under shade and it's great because there are snack shops and stands nearby.
    I hope this helps.
Enjoy your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
