Traveling with a 4yr old and a 7 month old in March Any suggestions on how to organize our room/store all essentials (diapers, formula, bottles, snacks, etc) so that everyday goes smoothy? We have a room with fridge at WL and will be bringing a cooler.

    Hi Renee,
I suspect you are already a very organized person if you are thinking about these things!

You have already got a key ingredient - the fridge and cooler!  We always had groceries for our trips too.  I would pack things in cardboard boxes (drinks, snacks, etc) and stack the boxes on top of the fridge.  Each night, I would make sure that I refrigerated the drinks and snacks that I needed for the next day...some for our travels, and some drinks / food to be nice and cold for when we got home at the end of our day.

For all the 'little stuff'', the best advice I have heard is to bring one of the 'shoe organizers' that hang on the back of a door. You can get them at the dollar store or at a home store (not expensive).  You can use each pocket (which is a generous size) to store all the smaller gear.  Make sure you get the clear shoe organizer so you can see what is in each pocket.

You may also want to bring a plastic dish rack to sit on the counter (again, you can find it at the dollar store).  I know how many bottles and sippy cups need rinsing...and you'll need a place to dry them!

I hope this helps.  Renee, have a magical family time together!

Walt Disney World stole my heart when my parents introduced me to the magic the year it opened. I fondly remember my first 'Mickey Mouse in a Glass House' balloon! I still visit with my parents-and now with my husband and our two teens. Learn More About Lynn
