I am traveling with a 7 yr old girl and 4 year old boy. I am trying to decide between CS or PORS? Can you please offer some insight as someone who has stayed at both. We have stayed at PORS but no others trying to decide if we should try another moderate.

    Hello Suzanne!

My family loves to try different Walt Disney World Resort hotels! We are always faced with the same question-do we try something new or stick with our favorites? I also have children the same ages as yours, and I would choose Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside

Both resort hotels are big and have multiple bus stops within the resort if you are using Disney transportation to the theme parks. I do prefer Disney's Coronado Springs Resort Spanish-colonial style. The incredible themed pool, known as the Dig Site Pool, has a replica of a Mayan pyramid and also has the largest outdoor hot tub at the Walt Disney World Resort. However, in the winter months, you may not get as much use of the pool.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside has the better (in my opinion) quick-service dining location, offers a boat ride to Downtown Disney, and features the entertaining and amazing Yehaa Bob at the River Roost Lounge. Also you can walk to Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter for beignets! Beignets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Good luck with your decision. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you have a magical, fantastical vacation!
