Traveling with 2yr old for the first time this May. I'm looking at the PO FQ or Riverside and like them both. However, they don't have a private balcony which would really be nice as son goes to bed at 8pm. The WL looks great too. Which do you recommend?

If a budget isn't an issue, my preference would be the Wilderness Lodge for several reasons.  First, it is a smaller resort made up of one building, so it is a short/easy walk to both the bus stop and boat launch.  It is also short, pleasant boat ride to the Magic Kingdom, which I'm guessing you may spend more time at with a 2 year old.  Since it is close by, it is easy to return to the room for breaks/naps.  We also were able to wheel our stroller onto the boat without having to fold it up (this can change with water level fluctuations).  The balconies are enjoyable, especially those that overlook the courtyard and lake.  Finally, the resort also some cozy places in the lobby to people watch, soak in the majestic music, and rock a little one in fireplace rocking chairs.  We truly loved our visits to this resort!
