Hi I am traveling with my 3 yr old daughter and my 14 yr old nephew alone! I'm 27 and a big kid. Any suggestions on way I can do to make there trip special for both children? We are celebrating first time visit and a birthday ? Any resort suggestions?

    Hi Gina!

This sounds like a great trip.  I would suggest staying in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort if at all possible.  That would give you easy access to the Magic Kingdom and, via a monorail transfer, to Epcot.  The Polynesian is my favorite Magic Kingdom monorail resort.  Having easy access to two theme parks will make it easy to return to your hotel room for an afternoon break or nap, which might be very important with your 3 year old daughter.

Another great resort to consider is the Beach Club if you are visiting during the warmer months.  That is because of its feature pool, Stormalong Bay, which is fabulous.  It is a sand bottom pool which offers something for all guests.  Your nephew can enjoy the awesome water slide and its small lazy river, while your daughter builds sand castles in the children's area of the pool complex.

Since it is your first time visiting, I suggest picking up the tour book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  It is a great book for first time visitors as it is full of information but it is not overwhelming.  It is also a beautiful book full of color photographs.  It will give you a good idea of everything there is to do at Walt Disney World.

Our responses are limited in length, but I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
