    Traveling w/ a 2 & 3 yr old. Have breakfast res at Akershus. Staying at Grand Floridian. Is there a faster way to get over to World Showcase than to take the monorail then walk accross the entire park? Don't want exhausted kids early on. Suggestions?

    Hello Devone,

    The monorail is so convenient, especially since you are fortunate enough to be staying at the gorgeous Grand Floridian Resort. I think it may be your best bet.

    But if you're worried about walking from the monorail station to World Showcase for your reservations at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, my suggestion would be to take a taxi cab from your hotel to one of the Epcot resorts (like the Beach Club) and then walk the short distance over to the International Gateway. Or you can even take a boat over. It takes you right into World Showcase. But be aware, once there, you are on the opposite end of the "World" so there is still some walking involved.
