    We will be traveling with a 5 yr old. Will we actually be able to take a backpack on the rides with us or are there convenient places to leave your belongings while riding? I don't want to get a locker everytime we ride something. This is our first trip!

    Hi Melissa,

    We have never rented a locker in any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. My husband carries a backpack and is able to bring it on all rides. Even Expedition Everest, the roller coaster at the Animal Kingdom, has a cargo area for your bag. On man rides, you just need to place the backpack between your legs before the safety bar is lowered.

    Make sure all pockets are closed before riding!
