I am traveling with my young son in October 2018, we will be there between October 17 and 23. Will we be able to trick or treat in the parks during the month or is it only during the Not So Scary Halloween Party? Also, do people typical dress in costumes

    Hi Jean,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

I’ve had the chance to experience Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party several times with my little guy (he’s now 5) and it was always an amazing and memorable experience, especially because that’s the only time that you can “trick or treat” in Magic Kingdom Park.

The Halloween Party is also one of the only Special Events where adults can enter the Park in costume (be sure to follow the Costume Guidelines), as that’s normally not allowed under the Walt Disney World Park Rules. So, yes, people absolutely can and do dress in costumes for some spooktacular Halloween fun! If you can fit tickets into your family’s plans for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort, I highly recommend attending this Party with your son.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
