Welcome to planDisney, Chloe! Thanks for sailing over with your question today; your countdown is winding down and before you know it, you'll be setting sail for a magical voyage on the high seas with Captain Mickey! Planning and finalizing your excursions is always an exciting way to pass the time until sail away, so let's dive into your question!
Chloe, I actually visited Dolphinaris on a
Disney Cruise Line Port Adventure years ago with my two daughters; at our time of sailing, my oldest was 4 and was able to participate in this exact excursion, but my youngest was only 2, so she was not eligible to participate. What we did, and what I would recommend, is having one (or more, depending on your complete travel party!) adult accompany your older child to participate in the interaction and booking your younger child with another adult as an
observer. Because your younger child does not meet the age requirement, he will not be able to enter the water and must have an adult with him at all times. For me, I joined my daughter in the water and my other daughter stayed with her grandparents who watched our experience from the observation deck. We were all able to enjoy eating lunch and watching the dolphins together after our experience in the water!
Chloe, I hope this helps! I'm sure whatever you decide, you will create some amazing memories on your Disney Cruise Line vacation! If you have any other questions we can help with, feel free to sail back our way and let us know here at
planDisney!
