Hey there Amy,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort. It looks like you'll be there in about a week - how exciting!
The Disneyland Resort has a strong commitment to providing an inclusive environment for Guests of all abilities! For the member of your group who uses a walker/wheelchair combo, you do have a few options.
Guests are invited to bring and use their own
ECV or manual wheelchair, so if you already have a walker/wheelchair combo that you are comfortable with then you'll just want to make sure to check the
Park Rules & Regulations to ensure it aligns with what is permitted for the parks.
If instead you would like to
rent a wheelchair or ECV, you can do so at the Stroller Shop outside the theme parks, just east of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance. Keep in mind that these may not be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If you'd prefer to rent a wheelchair option for the length of your stay then there are local mobility companies that you can do so through. If you're staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, you can find more information about the Disney Featured Provider, ScooterBug, at the bottom of the
ECV & Wheelchair overview page.
Lastly, there is a really helpful resource hub on the Accessibility page for
Guests with mobility disabilities. This is a great page to learn more about the different services available to make your trip more comfortable.
Thanks again for your question, Amy! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
